Two firefighters from Dillon County Station Two (Latta) were injured on Sunday in a fire.
The fire took place at 309 Calm Street, according to Dillon County officials. The call went out at 1:30 p.m. and when firefighters arrived it was about 50 pecent involved.
County Administrator Clay Young said that one firefighter has been sent to a hospital in Augusta, GA while the other was in McLeod Dillon at the time of this report.
A prayer vigil was scheduled for the firefighters on Monday night at the Dillon Church of God Family Life Center.
The FAST Team from Hartsville was to meet with firefighters on Monday night to help the firefighters deal with their stress and emotions about the event.
