Each year about this time, we ask that you make a New Year’s resolution—write a least one letter to the editor this year.
We want to hear from you about issues important to Dillon County and all of our municipalities—and there are many issues about which you can express an opinion.
The rules are listed below. We can’t wait to hear from you.
Letters must be signed and must contain a complete address (street/p.o. box and town) and a telephone number for verification.
We do not publish or consider anonymous letters or letters without a verifiable name, address, and telephone number nor do we publish letters with names withheld.
We reserve the right to edit letters or to refuse to publish letters at our discretion. Letters endorsing political candidates will not be run before an election.
