Services for Thad Bennett Bethea were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Little Rock Baptist Church with burial in Huggins Family Cemetery.  Visitation was held 6-9 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Bethea, 74, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Rowland, NC, July 25, 1941, he was the son of Sophia Jackson Bethea and the late Thad Cosco Bethea.  He was employed by Dillon County.
Survivors include his wife, Janet H. Bethea; sons, Randy (Melissa) Bethea of Florence, Ricky (Ann) Bethea, and Keith Bethea, both of Little Rock; mother, Sophia Jackson Bethea of Oakland; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Ronald Bethea of Oakland; sisters, Jackie Thompson of Oakland, and Joyce Kinlaw of Rowland, NC; numerous special nieces and nephews.
