Services for Arthur Hyatt, Jr. will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Little Rock Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Richard Alderman and Rev. Harold Hyatt. Burial with military honors will be held in Huggins Family Cemetery. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Hyatt, 69, died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.
Born in Marlboro County, SC, August 28, 1946, he was the son of the late Arthur Clifton Hyatt and Ruth Nolan Hyatt. He was a member of Open Door Community Church, and was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ann Hyatt of Little Rock; son, Johnny Wayne Hyatt of Oklahoma; daughters, Teresa Jacobs, Denise Hyatt, both of Oakland, Connie (Jerry) Bullard of Lake View, and Joanie (David) Hyatt of Dillon; brother, Harold Hyatt of Longview, TX; sisters, Ginger Sloan of Easley, SC, and Laura Fair of Florence; 5 grandchildren, Jessica Marie Jacobs, Marie Jacobs, Logan Miller, Anna Hyatt, and Nicolette Bullard; special mother-in-law & father-in-law, Frances & Howard Lovett of Little Rock.
