The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Little Rock.
The following is a report on the shooting from Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office:
On Wednesday, September 23, at approximately 11:45 p.m., deputies with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a shooting incident along with Dillon County EMS in Little Rock on Highway 9 West, upon arrival of law enforcement a male victim was located and he had been shot while driving his vehicle at Highway 9 and Little Rock Avenue in Little Rock. While officers were on the scene investigating the shooting of the victim they learned that a residence on Little Rock Avenue had been shot also. The victim was transported to the hospital from the scene by Dillon County EMS. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the South Carolina Highway Patrol with traffic control and detour due to Highway 9 being shut down temporarily during the investigation. The two incidents are believed to be related and if anyone has any information concerning the crimes you are asked to call Detective Allan Rogers with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office at 843-774-1432.
