Two people have been arrested by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office for the assault and robbery of a Latta man that occurred August 24, on Bay Catfish Road, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Bobby Eugene Page III, age 23, and Raven Cierra Jackson, age 20, both of Darlington are charged with Assault and Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature, Strong Arm Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy.
According to the initial press release on the incident, the victim stated that two individuals come to his residence asking about a job and from that point the victim was assaulted and money taken from the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment for the injuries received during the assault.
Investigator Shannon Grainger was the lead investigator on the case and assisted by Investigator Allan Rogers and other officers with the sheriff’s office.
Additional arrests are forthcoming, Arnette said.
