An Oak Grove man was found shot to death at his home on Tuesday morning, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley identified the victim as Heath Hamilton “Cricket” Clark, age 44. Grimsley said that Clark died as a result of a gunshot. Grimsley said it is a murder.
Arnette said that deputies received a call in reference to a death at a home at Elberry Road around 8:45 a.m. Arnette said Clark had been found by a family member.
While deputies are still putting together a timeline at this time deputies believe that Clark was last seen alive on Monday evening. Arnette said that SLED Crime Scene was called in to assist with the investigation.

The funeral service for Clark will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Tart Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
