Columbia, S.C. — At today’s biennial South Carolina Republican Party State Convention, Matt Moore of Lexington County was re-elected as the state party’s Chairman. Moore won 83.1% of the vote over Mark Powell of Anderson County. Moore, 33, is America’s second-youngest state Republican Party chairman.
“I’m honored by the overwhelming support of our state convention. Thank you delegates for the trust you’ve placed in me,” said Chairman Moore.
