Young ladies enjoyed an elegant tea party at Abingdon Manor on Sunday, March 22nd. The event, sponsored by the Ellis Performing Arts Center, included mothers-daughters, grandmothers-granddaughters, and aunts-nieces. There was a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Afterwards, many of the young ladies went to the Mother-Daughter piano/flute performance at the Ellis Performing Arts Center featuring Ruth Easterling Winters and Kathleen Winters. A MARTIN LUTHER KING MARCH AND SERVICE were held on January 15th. The group marched from the old J.V. Martin Junior High School on Martin Luther King Boulevard to Manning Baptist Church.
