Leprest Dixon, East Elementary School student, has received a certificate from Susan C. Flanagan, Director of South Carolina Department of Education Office of Career and Technology Education congratulating him as a state winner for the 2014 State of South Carolina – 3rd Place Poster Category 1 – Primary (K-2) Division. Mrs. Flanagan also wrote a letter to Leprest stating that a framed copy of his award-winning entry will be on display in the South Carolina Department of Education throughout the 2014-2015 school year. His entry has been submitted to the national competition for judging in April. The theme is “ReImagining Life’s Possibilities: Celebrating First Jobs Through Encore Careers”.
