A local pastor is involved in a healing ministry for veterans.
It all started with Rev. Larry Williams’ father having outpatient surgery in Fayetteville, N.C. about three years ago.
As Williams was leaving the Lord spoke to him and told him to lend his services to veterans As he was entering to lend his services to veterans, the Lord said tell them I have not forgotten their blood, sweat, and sacrifices for this country He was informed to go to volunteer services and to the chaplain’s office. While Williams is a gospel artist, he and his group, The Christian Jubilees of Dillon, lend their services to go into the VA Hospital and sing for the patients.
Williams and his group formed the organization known as “Healing Soldiers of War.”
Singing is a spiritual therapy for the veterans.
His group believes in healing from the inside out.
His group’s food bank provides for the veterans.
The group recently had an engagement in Columbia on October 14 and on November 4 at the VA Hospital in Jacksonville, NC.
On Friday, November 7, the group will be singing at “The Square” in Marion, and on Tuesday, November 18th, they will perform at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville.
