RED RIBBON WEEK AT EAST ELEMENTARY—During the week of October 23 – 31, the faculty, staff and students at East observed Red Ribbon Week.  The theme for the week was “Our School Has S.W.A.G. (Students Who Achieve Goals) Drug Free.” Activities during the week included:  “Pledge Day” students wrote a Drug Free poem or drew a picture using the theme; “Wear Red Day” everyone wore red; “Tie One On Against Drugs” everyone was asked to wear a tie; and “We’re A Drug Free Team” Day” everyone was asked to wear clothing to support your favorite team.  During “Wear Red Day.” (Contributed Photo)
