Norton and Lynne Hughes, the owners of local restaurant, Shuler’s BBQ, will be featured on this season of CNBC’s “The Profit,” premiering October 17 at 9 p.m. Shuler’s BBQ has the potential to be the next big thing in BBQ but is letting minor inefficiencies hold back potential streams of additional revenue for the business. Currently, the restaurant makes over $1,000,000 a year in revenue only being open for 27 hours a week. The Hughes have asked serial entrepreneur, Marcus Lemonis, for assistance. Viewers will see if Marcus can change Shuler’s BBQ from being a local business to a household name in BBQ.
