The National Infant Mortality Awareness campaign is designed to increase people’s awareness of the high rates of infant deaths and is led by the Pee Dee Healthy Start, Inc. Pee Dee Healthy Start, Inc. has made a dramatic impact on the high rates of infant mortality that are prevalent in the Dillon County communities, providing critical services to 1,269 women and their infants.
