A Dillon man was recently arrested for manufacturing marijuana, according to the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
William Rick Fields, age 27, Dillon, was charged.
Officers received a tip that led them to the discovery of marijuana being grown at 2355 Highway 301 North, Lot 18, Dillon, according to a report by Cpl. Tim George of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting him was Pvt. Art Quick.
A search warrant was obtained, and the marijuana was found in a closet. Nineteen small marijuana plants were found. Several roaches of marijuana in a plastic container were also found.
