The Dillon County Council approved the purchase of a tanker for the Oak Grove (Station 9) Fire Department. The department has needed a tanker for two or three years and the funds are in the budget.
The tanker is a 2007 International Duraster 2000 Gallon Water Truck.
The motion to purchase the tanker was made by Councilman T.F. “Buzzy” Finklea, Jr. and seconded by Councilman Bobby Moody. The motion passed.
