Dillon County Councilman Archie Scott said that he is concerned about bringing jobs of all levels to Dillon County.
Scott said he believes local governments should embrace different levels of jobs because jobs of all skill levels help the community regardless.
He said while some people do have the skills and education level to obtain jobs at an industry, others may have middle or lower level skills and could benefit from jobs in retail or the food industry in a job in a restaurant.
Scott said money spent to bring in jobs is money well spent. He said when Dillon County citizens are employed they will invest their dollars back into our community.
Scott said with the high unemployment rate he is thankful for whatever they can get.
He said jobs must be brought in that fit all levels of the workforce.
