This pie recipe comes from a dear friend of my mother’s. They served together in the Red Cross in the late ‘40’s.

Edith’s Vinegar Pie

1 stick margarine
1 ½ cups sugar
2 tablespoons plain flour
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 tablespoons vinegar
3 eggs
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

            Combine ingredients and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake 45 minutes at 300 degrees.
