The Mullins Dixie Boys 14-U Team won the 2014 Dillon Invitation Dixie Boys Tournament Championship held June 6 through June 12 at the Dillon Recreation Department.

The Mullins boys went 6-0 in the tournament and beat the Latta Outlaws on the final day for the Championship.

Garrett McDaniels, Reagan Fowler, Hayden Panos, D.J. Atkinson, Timmy Felder, Brandon Carter, and Matt Baxley all hit over .300 in the tournament for Mullins.

The Mullins pitching staff did not give up a run during the tournament in 28 innings of play. D.J. Atkinson, Jesse Lane, Timmy Felder, Garrett McDaniels, and Reagan Fowler all collected wins and Brandon Carter and Jesse Lane collected one save each. In all, Mullins pitching gave up seven walks, six hits, and struck out 61 batters.

Mullins finished the season with an undefeated 18-0 record and will now prepare for the District 14-U All Star Tournament which begins Monday, July 7, in Mullins.
