The Pee Dee Academy junior varsity boys Golden Eagles defeated the Dillon Christian School Warriors 37-23 Monday night at Warrior Gymnasium.
The game was a makeup game that had been delayed by the recent snow and ice storm.
The Eagles took the lead early and never gave it up, holding onto an 11-5 first quarter lead and a 21-13 lead at the halftime break. In the third quarter, the Eagles increased their lead to 29-16 and finished with a 14 point victory at 37-23.
Leading the Golden Eagles on the board was Mathew Binson with eight points, followed by Reese Webster, Justin Rogers, and Tanner Jordan with five points each. Garret Jenkins scored four points; Luke Coleman earned three points; Jesse Lane, Frank Drew, and Jake Lane added two points each; and Hayden Panos added a point.
On the board for the Warriors, Jake Boykin scored 10 points; Anthony Williams earned six; Michael Minges, Jackson Wolfe, and Hunter Tyner each added two points; and Kelvin Stackhouse added a point for Dillon Christian.
