Lake View’s Wild Gators fell 64-47 to the Hannah-Pamplico Raiders on Friday night in boys basketball action.
The Gators took a 16-13 lead in the first quarter, but the Raiders went 23-13 in the second to pull ahead 36-29 at the half. Hannah-Pamplico kept control in the second half, outscoring Lake View 28-20 to maintain the win.
Hannah-Pamplico was led by Roy Ellis with a game-high 22 points and Jordan Jenkins added 15 in the win. Jerried Self scored 8; Jakar Beach, 7; Brandon Williamson, 6; Tyshawn Washington, 4; and Nick Eaddy, 2.
Lake View was led by Reco Brown and Crishon Jordan with 11 points each. Anthony Bines added six points, Dwayne Nichols scored five, and Jeremiah Cribb earned four, with Thomas Bullock and Jeremy Moody each adding two and Josh Butler earning one point in the effort.
Lake View falls to 0-2 in the region, while Hannah-Pamplico improved to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in Region 8-A.
