The Dillon Kiwanis Club held its annual installation of new officers and ladies’ night at the B&C Steak & BBQ on Tuesday, October 1, at 6:30 p.m. The fiscal year for the club is October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013.
A delicious meal and fellowship was enjoyed by all. Outgoing President Darryl Miller gave his farewell speech before handing the gavel over to incoming President Ronnie Bracey.
The District 20 Lt. Gov. Pete Hoogendonk and his wife, Marti, were here as Lt. Gov. Hoogendonk inducted the new officers: President Ronnie Bracey, Vice President Gene Hill, Secretary/Treasurer Lonnie Turner, and Immediate Past President Darryl Miller. These officers will serve for 2013-2014.

Incoming President Ronnie Bracey made comments on the expectations of the new year.
The Dillon Kiwanis Club was formed in September, 1948, and has been serving the children in this area in Dixie Youth Baseball, Terrific Kids’ Program, Reading at the Schools, and much more. The Kiwanis Club is presently accepting new members, men and women.
