Private First Class Camian Ford graduated from Basic Military Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Iowa, Missouri.
He completed an eight-week program that included an intensive, fast-paced program of instruction that focused on rigorous physical conditioning, confidence building, and teamwork. The U.S. Army values also included military discipline, basic warfare, and skills. He is now completing his ALIT in Oklahoma. Afterwards, he will be stationed at Fort Drum in New York City.
Ford is the son of Vicky Ford and Shaw Bethel, both of Dillon. He is the grandson of Joan Carmichael and Rondel Carmichael of Dillon and Jerry and Doris Ford of Winston-Salem, NC. He is a graduate of Dillon High School Class of 2010.
