Robert L. Adams, 93, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at his residence.
     Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
     Born in Dillon County, SC, May 14, 1920, he was the son of the late Robert Adams and Annie Elkins Adams.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and retired from Dillon Yarn.
     Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary K. Adams of Dillon; daughter, Nancy (Bunky) Townsend of Dillon; grandchildren, Kim T. Rouse and Brant Townsend; great-grandchildren, Chris Rouse and Amber Rouse.
