Bids are now being accepted for the new Judicial Center that the county plans to construct beside the Dillon County Detention Center.
The project calls for a new 28,200 square foot Judicial Center metal building structure with a 2,450 square foot covered connector to the existing detention center and a 13,000 square foot metal building for the coroner and sheriff’s storage. Bids will open on August 26th, when the bid documents will be available. Bids will be received until September 19th.
Bids are also being accepted on a new fire station in the Bingham area. The proposed pre-engineered metal building calls for a building that is 40 feet wide x 60 feet deep, 18 foot eave height, and two bays. All bidders must contact the County Administrator’s Office to obtain general bid specifications and floor plan sketch. The county will accept bids on this project until September 18th.
