Dr. Donald Hayes and Ronald Hayes attended the Book Expo America convention in New York City recently to promote his latest book, The Pentagon of Faith: Sacred Theism vs. Secular Humanism.
The convention is the largest event of its kind held in the United States each year. Outside of New York City, London has the largest book event.
Publishers, printers, electronic media and celebrities attend this convention each year.
Hundreds of new titles are available for review as well as learning the newest technology in an ever-changing publishing market.
Celebrities held book singings who included Chris Matthews of Hardball on CNBC as well as any recognized names and faces.
Dr. Hayes’ book was picked up by Ingraham Publishing, an international distributor of books and ePub digital books located in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Hayes had promising interviews with friends and editors of Vogue Magazine, The New York Times, and Forbes Magazine. Texas Bookman, a distributor of books to schools, universities and libraries will also consider Dr. Hayes’ book for mass distribution as well as Brilliance Audio for audio book distribution. Overall, it was a productive trip for the two brothers.
The event was held at the Jacob Javits Center in the heart of Manhattan on the Hudson River.
Dr. Hayes and his twin brother Ronnie scheduled their trip with time to visit some of NYC’s famous sites.
They were guests at Club Quarters World Trade Center which is two blocks from Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
Their hotel was across the street from the Freedom Tower and they could watch the construction at that site each day as they exited to take in the sights and sounds of a bustling city. Some of the sites they visited were Rockefeller Center, The Boat House Central Park, The American Museum of Natural History, The Empire State Building, Macy’s Department Store, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany’s, Times Square, Grand Central Station, and Battery Park.  While they were there they also attended a Broadway Musical entitled ‘Jersey Boys’, a story about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
