Should I Vote or Not?
To the Editor:
Should I vote or should I not vote? It is said that every vote counts, but I don’t see it that way.
My understanding is that the first candidate who gets the right amount of electoral votes is declared the winner. Where are all the votes that the people have cast? They must not count, therefore every vote doesn’t count.
I have known in the past where a candidate was declared the winner and all the precincts had not even gotten in to be counted. How does every vote count in a case like that?
I don’t think the voting situation is run like it should be.
Should I vote or should I not vote? My vote is apt not to be counted.
