At the end of the third week of Quarterz basketball, the Warriors are leading the league with a 6-0 undefeated record.
On Saturday, September 8, the Warriors defeated second-place Jacksonville Gambinos 68-58, while the Quarter Kingz defeated the Latta Bobkats 64-48 and the Newtown Trojans picked up a 73-38 win over the DC Runnin’ Rebels.
On Sunday, September 9, The Warriors took down the Rebels 58-32, and the Gambinos defeated the Kingz 62-56. The Trojans also defeated the Bobkats 60-49.
The Warriors lead the league 6-0 with the Gambinos in second with a 4-2 record. The Trojans and the Kingz each have a 2-4 record for third place, while Hamer and Latta are both 0-6. The DC Runnin’ Rebels junior team are 0-2.
The Oakland Bandits will make their debut this Saturday, September 15, as the closing game of the day against Hamer. The Warriors will kick things off at 3:00 p.m. against the Gambinos, followed by the Rebels and the Bobkats at 4:00 p.m. The Trojans will take on the Kingz at 5:00.
On Sunday, the Kings will start the day at 3:00 p.m. against the Rebels. Hamer will face Latta at 4:00 p.m., and the Warriors will take on the Kingz at 5:00. The Bandits will again close out the day’s action when they take on the Gambinos at 6:00 p.m.
