Tom Rice, Republican nominee for South Carolina’s 7th Congressional District, traveled throughout the district on Friday to distribute school supplies to students. On Friday, August 17, he provided school supplies to students in the counties of Marion, Dillon, and Marlboro to help them with their new school year. Former Coastal Carolina University football coach David Bennett joined him and issued the supplies on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Dillon stop was at the Dillon County Recreational Department at 1201 Highway 34 West. Supplies were given to the first 500 students.
