On Monday, August 6, a meeting of the Latta High School Athletic Booster Club was held at the LHS gym. An enthusiastic group came together to discuss plans for a revival of the Booster Club.
Officers chosen for the newly formed group are President Michael Rogers, Vice-President Teddy Cale Williams, Secretary Kyle Berry and Treasurer Blake Allen. Libby Allen will serve as publicist.
The LHS Booster Club will hold monthly meetings the third Tuesday of each month in the LHS gym at 7:00 p.m.
The first activity of this group will be to feed both football teams following the scrimmage game between Latta and South Robeson this Friday night, August 10th. That game takes place at the Viking’s home field at 6:00. Latta will also play in the Jamboree at Lake View at 6:00 on Thursday, August 9.
