Cattie Mae Moore, widow of Leon Harvey Moore, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Services were held 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Little Bless Church Cemetery in Oak Grove. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Born in Horry County, SC, October 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Moses Owens and Penny Rabon Owens. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of God, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret (John C. ) Lane of Hamer, and Maxine (Vernon Leon) McNeil of Latta; grandchildren, Sharon Tanner (Gary) of Dunn, NC, Sheila Lane (the late Nelson) of Latta, SC; Steven Bruce Cook (Christie) of Dillon, SC Wilbert Lynn Cook (Tracy) of Florence, SC Kathy Nolan Fore (Darryl) of Florence, SC, and William Lane of Hamer; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Moses & Penny Owens; husband, Harvey Moore; special sons-in-law, Wilbert Cook, Jr. and L.G. Nolan; special grandson, Nelson Lane; and beloved granddaughter, Karen Niccole Nolan.
