Nancy Bracey Lee of Rowland, NC passed away June 13, 2012 at the age of 74.
Funeral services were Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Ashpole Presbyterian Cemetery in Rowland, officiated by Charles Monroe.
Ms. Lee was born February 27, 1938 in Robeson County, NC to the late Edgar Bracey and Bertha Oldham Bracey. Ms. Lee spent many years serving others as a nurse, retiring from Pines Nursing Home in Dillon. She was a member of the Ashpole Presbyterian Church whose passions were reading, caring for her animals and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Ms. Lee was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Addison McKellar, and a brother, Gilbert Bracey.
To continue her legacy of love and service Nancy leaves a daughter, Carolyn Floyd and husband John of Ocean Isle Beach; a grandson, Joseph Edgar Floyd of Ocean Isle Beach and a granddaughter, Nancy Katheryn “Katy” Floyd of Wilmington; a special niece, Angela Bracey Sports and husband Jim of Dillon, SC, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held at the Ashpole Presbyterian Cemetery on Friday, June 15, 2012, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Richard Boles Funeral Service.
