Dillon’s Jim Carr shot a 77 to lead the Boys 13-14 year old division in the opening match of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association’s Hootie and the Blowfish Pee Dee Chapter Summer Tour.
Carr finished first in his division, followed by William Harrison Breeden of Florence with an 85 and Luke Freeman of Florence with an 88.
In the Boys 15-18 division, Ryan Michael Parrott of Lake City took first place with a 70, with Florence’s Benjamin Walker and Maxie Glenn Jeffords in second and third with a 72 and 74.
Michael Todd McWhite of Latta shot an 87, and Latta’s John Smith Gaddy shot a 95, while Jack Lynn of Dillon and Cody Lee Hyatt of Latta each shot a 99.
In the Girls 14-18 division, Sarina Sonoda of Florence shot a 38 to lead the division, with Lake View’s Ashley Rogers and Shino Sonoda of Florence each finishing with a 48.
In the Boys 10-12 division, Cameron Mills of Florence finished in first with a 49 and James H. Potter of Florence shot a 50 for second. And in the Boys 8-9 division, Eugene Noel Zeigler III of Florence shot a 43 and Matthew Gannon of Effingham shot a 59.
The next stops on the Summer Tour will be Governor’s Run Golf Club in Lamar today and The Crossing Golf Club in Florence on Monday, June 11.
