Twin Lakes Country Club saw three notable golf achievements last week from Marsha Rogers, Iris Johnson, and Timmy Grimsley.
On Sunday, April 29, Marsha Rogers shot a hole-in-one at hole 13, which is 122 yards. It was her first hole-in-one, and she was using a 7-iron.
Marsha and her husband, Bubba, have two children, Ashley and Dylan, who are both active in the South Carolina Junior Golf Association.
On Thursday, May 3, Iris Johnson shot at a 74 at Twin Lakes, which is three strokes below her age.
The feat was witnessed by Carol Edens. The third member of their usual golf trio, Margie Miller, was absent.
On Friday, May 4, Timmy Grimsley shot a hole-in-one at hole 11 which measures 143 yards. He was using a pitching wedge.
The hole-in-one was witnessed by Johnny Sapp, Cecil Hewitt, and Bill Howell.
