(4/26-10:09 a.m.) There was a shooting in Latta on Mauldin Street, directly off Main Street, a short time ago. It appeared that the suspect and the victim had fled the scene, but the window of a car left there was shot out. Also the tire of a nearby vehicle had been shot out. Witnesses at the scene said they heard approximately four shots. The Latta Police Department, SLED, and the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene. No further details were available at the time of this posting. The photo shows law enforcement at the scene. The white car pictured has the window shot out.
