Services for Lafon Lee will be held Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. in Pyerian Baptist Church with burial, with full military honors, in the church cemetery.  
Visitation is 7-9 Monday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Lee, 87, died Sunday at his residence.
Born in Dillon County September 13, 1924, he was the son of the late Stafford and Nettie Jackson Lee.  
He was a retired plumber and electrician, was a U.S. Marine Veteran, and was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church for 50 years.  He was the widower of the late Elizabeth Brown Lee.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Lee (Willie) Snipes of Floyd Dale and Billy (Carol) Lee of Dillon; sister, Kathleen (Jim) Spears of Cordell, Georgia; five grandchildren and seven  great-grandchildren.
