On November 23, the Fourth Judicial Circuit AET along with Dillon County Sheriff’s Department, Dillon City Police Department, and Latta Police Department alcohol compliance checks were performed at local stores throughout the county.
A total of six stores were checked in Latta with two given citations for selling alcohol to underage youth.
A total of 14 stores were checked in Dillon County with seven stores given warnings/citations for selling alcohol to underage youth.
These checks are performed randomly and are important to help keep alcohol out of the hands of our youth, helping to protect and save lives.
