Services for Harold McCoy Campbell, Sr. will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Dillon First Presbyterian Church with burial in Kentyre Presbyterian Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
Mr. Campbell, 96, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, September 7, 1914, he was the son of the late George Brown Campbell and Flora Margaret McLellan Campbell. He was a member of Dillon First Presbyterian Church, and retired from ARA Vending Company. He was the widower of the late Margaret R. Campbell.
Survivors include his son, Mac (Miriam) Campbell of Effingham; grandchildren, Steve (Alicia) Campbell of Lexington, SC, and Lauren (Jeffrey) Tedder of Effingham; great-grandchildren, Madison, Audrey, and Cate Campbell, and Hunter McClary.
