A home burned in Sellers on Saturday, according to a fire report by Assistant Chief Bobby Jones of Dillon County Fire Station Two (Latta).
The home, located at at 143 Firestone Court, belongs to Monroe Carter. Jones said that the home was fully involved when firefighters arrived.
The report states that fire caused the siding to melt on two homes that were on either side of the burning house. The report also says that five ATV’s burned, an Escalade in the driveway was damaged on the passenger side, and a Ford F-150 truck had a rear tail light that melted. Jones said the home was a total loss.
Fire departments assisting the Dillon County Fire Station Two were Dillon County Fire Station Nine (Oak Grove) and Floyd Dale Fire and Rescue. The cause of the fire was still undetermined at press time.
