Services for Willie Mae (Shorty) Lane Haselden will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Mt. Andrew United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Haselden, 71, died Monday, May 23, 2011 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Marion County, January 20, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Willie Lane and Bertha Wiggins Lane. She was a member of Mt. Andrew United Methodist Church, was a homemaker, and was the widow of the late Charles Haselden.
Survivors include her daughters, Ellen (Ronnie) Sessions of Hickory, NC, and Carolyn Hulon of Floydale; sons, Mickey Haselden of Latta, Randy (Lisa) Haselden of Mullins, Michael (Freida) Haselden of Johns Creek, GA, and Jimmy (Monica) Haselden of Latta; sisters, Jean Renaud of Marion, and Catherine Hyatt of Dillon; brothers, Ralph Lane of Marion, and Gerald Lane of Latta; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
