Law Enforcement Week was observed last week with an array of activities honoring law enforcement.
The week started off with a prayer breakfast at the Latta Community Center on Monday. On Tuesday, a luncheon was held in Lake View in their honor.
On Wednesday, a prayer/memorial service was held at the Dillon City-County Complex. A plaque in honor of the late Deputy Robert Wilson was placed on the Wall of Honor. On Thursday, a law enforcement banquet was held. The Sheriff’s Honor Guard was debuted, and guests enjoyed hearing from Hubert Harrell, the director of the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy. On Friday, law enforcement officials attended the Relay For Life, and on Sunday, they were honored by their churches.
