Louine B. Ward, 86, died Thursday, May 5, 2011, in McLeod Medical Center-Dillon.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday in Dillon Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Piney Grove Freewill Holiness Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, August 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Marion Berry and Nellie Mae Lock Berry. She was the widow of the late Vernie Lane Ward, a member of the Dillon Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, William “Bill” Ward of Dillon; daughter, Shirley Hulon of Dillon; sisters, Betty Ford of Dillon and Joann McPhatter of Wilmington, NC, Suzanne Brown of Lake View; brothers, John D. Berry of Dillon and Kade Lois Berry; brother-in-law, Shelton Herring; special friend, Sarah Grace Rowell; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
