A funeral service for Mrs. Patricia Thelma Guttenbiel McCartt Nichols, spouse of Samuel “Sam” Chester Nichols, will be at 11:30 AM, Wednesday April 20, 2011 at Family Worship Center, conducted by the Rev. Steven McCartt. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to support the Philippines Life Conference at www.fwcflorence.com.
Mrs. Nichols, 73, died April 16, 2011, in Florence, SC. She was born September 25, 1937, in Vavau, Tonga.
Patricia was a member of the Family Worship Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband Rev. Howard Shelton McCartt.
Surviving in addition to her husband are: sons, Steven (Amy) McCartt of Florence, SC, and Christopher Nichols of Greenville, SC; daughter, Dr. Leah McCartt of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Courtney Lyman, Lindsey Lyman, Steven McCartt, Bryan McCartt, Emily McCartt, and Gavin Nichols; and 15 brothers and sisters.
