The car of a murder victim whose body was found in Dillon County last week was located in Marlboro County, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Arnette said that the car was found in Marlboro County before the body was located in Dillon County.
Deputies were called in response to a body being found on Red Fox Court at about 7:35 a.m. on January 17th.
The man was identified as Ricky Herndon, a 38-year-old black male from Blythewood, South Carolina, which is near Columbia.
