On  America Recycles Day, November 15th, the City of Dillon is offering residents a wonderful opportunity to get rid of their old appliances that may be hanging around their home.
Residents will be able to put their old appliance at the curb, and the city will pick them up. All residents are urged to recycle their used refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, microwaves, freezers, etc.
“I Recycle” is the theme of Keep America Beautiful’s 2010 America Recycles Day (ARD), which takes place on November 15. Millions of Americans have pledged to increase their recycling habits at home and at work over the 13-year history of ARD, a nationally-recognized initiative dedicated to encouraging people to recycle more at home, at work, and on the go.
Residents are urged to be a part of the movement to increase their recycling efforts. Start with putting your old appliances at the curb on November 15th.
