Rhonda Williams Hayes, 57, died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Marion Regional Hospital after an illness.
Rhonda was born March 6, 1953 in Lexington, a daughter of Harry Lindsey Williams and the late Lillie King Williams.  She had worked as a teacher’s assistant in the public school system, served as church secretary for Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and had also worked in healthcare.  Rhonda was a member of Pee Dee Church.
Surviving are: 2 daughters, Frankie H. Pulley and her husband Dale of Mullins and Jennifer H. Burke and her husband John of Mullins; her father, Harry Lindsey Williams of Floydale; her husband, Frank Hayes of Lake View; 5 grandchildren, Cory Pulley, Bubba Pulley, Stone Pulley, Joshua Burke and Lilly Burke; and a sister, Harriett Bailey and her husband Jackie of Sellers.
Rhonda was predeceased by a son, Eric Dion Hayes and 2 brothers, Lendall Williams and Barney Williams.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, August 9 at Mullins First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Kirkland officiating.  Burial followed in Lake View Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins.
Visitation was Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the home of Jennifer H. Burke, Mrs. Hayes’ daughter, at 5033 Brantwood Dr., Mullins.
