Gerald E. Hayes, Jr., 34, died Monday, August 9, 2010, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Catfish Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born in Marlboro County, December  6, 1975, he was the son of Gerald E. Hayes, Sr. and Ellen Martin Hayes.  He attended Latta Baptist Church, was an outstanding member of the S.C. Highway Patrol Dispatcher and Dillon County 911 Dispatcher, he loved everyone, and was the life of the party.
Survivors include his parents, Gerald & Ellen Hayes, Sr. of Latta; special friend, Terry Jacobs of Oakland; many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
