Hepsy Parham, Facade Grant Committee Chairman of Latta Revitalization Commission, awarded a $1,000 check to Clara Jane Allen Braxton for the painting and facade upgrade of her building at the corner of West Main and Maulden Streets in Latta. This is the second grant awarded by Latta Revitalization in its Facade Grant Improvement Program since May. All business and property owners in the Main Street district were mailed information on availability of matching (maximum $1,000) grant monies for facade improvements. Grant applications have to meet certain conditions and are reviewed by a committee of LRC members.
