On May 20, 2014, Dillon Historic School Advocacy (DHSA) met with the Dillon County Board of Education to ask specific questions about this Board’s barring all access to the auditorium of former J. V. Martin Junior High School.
Admin 2“The FAIR” is an event sponsored by The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. each year for Club Presidents and members to meet and greet GCSC Officers, Committee Chairmen and see their displays, District Directors, and other garden club members from across the State.
Admin 2The Dillon Garden Club held its last spring meeting in the “Carolina Community” at the home of Bo and Patti McInnis.
Admin 2The evening of June 5th, the Latta Rotary Club held a fundraiser hosted by Club members Cindy and LaFon LeGette at their home on Dothan Road.

Admin 2The Dillon Historic School Advocacy (DHSA) seems to have more questions than they feel they have answers in regards to the closure of the J.V. Martin auditorium and a recent visit to the Dillon County Board of Education meeting and a written response they received.

On May 20, 2014, Dillon Historic School Advocacy (DHSA) met with the Dillon County Board of Education to ask specific questions about this Board’s barring all access to the auditorium of former J.V. Martin Junior High School. Before DHSA left that meeting, Chairman Schafer invited the members to submit any other questions which the Board would answer.
Admin 2The Yellow Jessamine Garden Club members gathered with family, and staff at the PruittHealth – Dillon Nursing Home, formerly known as Pines Nursing Home, to honor Mr. J. P. Camp on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 7 p.m. The beautifully decorated dining hall was the scene of a tribute to Mr. J. P. Camp, the former Director of the Dillon Technology Center.
Admin 2The Glove and Trowel Garden Club celebrated its 60th anniversary on Sunday, June 2 from 3:30 until 5 in the afternoon in the Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church in Dillon.
Admin 2The Magnolia Garden Club of Latta will hold a Dillon County Centennial Tea on October 14th.
