The Yellow Jessamine Garden Club met on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the residence of Darlene Wilkerson. There was 100% attendance.
The Pee Dee District Meeting was held on February 3, 2018 at the Hilton garden Inn in Florence, South Carolina with 43 members of the UDC present.
The Glove and Trowel Garden Club met on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at 3:30 p.m at the City of Dillon Wellness Center, located at 1647 Commerce Drive.
The monthly meeting for February 15, 2018, was called to order by Chairman Johnnie Daniels.
The February meeting for the Dillon Historical School Foundation (DHSF) was held on Tuesday, February 6th, 2018 at the Dillon Chamber of Commerce Offices.
The Dillon American Legion, Post 0032 had invited the boys who had participated in the Palmetto Boys State program last June, from Dillon High School, Dillon Christian School, and Latta High School along with their parents and school Counselors to a dinner at the American Legion Post which was held on Thursday, February 01, 2018.

In order for you to know about DAR the following is a brief explanation: The DAR is a service organization made up of approximately 3000 chapters located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Australia, Canada, France, Mexico and the United Kingdom. The Dillon Chapter, organized in 1916, like all other chapters, wanted “a society founded on service”. That emphasis continues today.
